“Mothers, cherish that role that is so uniquely yours and for which heaven itself sends angels to watch over you and your little ones. Yours is the work of salvation, and therefore you will be magnified, compensated, made more than you are, better than you are, better than you’ve ever been.

He is blessing you & He will bless you. Rely on Him, rely on Him heavily. Rely on Him forever. And press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope.”

Happenings in June

The month of June started out good. Andy had a break from school so we were able to go down to Melbourne and visit the family for the week. Also Andy's brother and his family had just finished their residency in Tennessee so they were down as well getting ready to move to Jacksonville. So it was fun to see everyone again. Thankfully Jacksonville in much closer than Memphis. Unfortunately near the end of our stay I started getting these awful pains up in my chest, turns out I had gotten pancreatitus from some stones that had come out of my gallbladder and gotten into my bile duct so I ended up having to have my gallbladder taken out. So my week trip turned into a 5 days stay in the hospital and about 3 extra weeks in Melbourne not being able to lift anything over 10lbs. Thankfully it happened while I was here with my family because Andy had to come back up for school. Brent also hit the six month mark in June! He was 17lbs and 27 1/2 inch's long. We were able to start cereal and fruits and veggies which he just loves. I'm pretty sure he has gained some more weight since then too! He also got his two bottom teeth!

Wow I didn't know that you had surgery! Stinky! I'm glad that you were able to have so much help from your family. I wanted so badly to talk to you after Stake Conference here, but couldn't find you guys. Maybe next time! Your little guy is getting to be so big. Our little guy is 6 and a half months and has his two bottom teeth as well!
