“Mothers, cherish that role that is so uniquely yours and for which heaven itself sends angels to watch over you and your little ones. Yours is the work of salvation, and therefore you will be magnified, compensated, made more than you are, better than you are, better than you’ve ever been.

He is blessing you & He will bless you. Rely on Him, rely on Him heavily. Rely on Him forever. And press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope.”

First Dental Exam

Brent had his first dental appointment last week at UF's dental school. He was so good, he just sat there and let Dr. Adewumi clean his teeth. I know all of you are thinking he's so young, but Andy assures me you should be taking your kid to the dentist by age one.

We did the same thing with our boys. I still remember the confused look on the dentist's face when we asked for him to check Alex's teeth. He was suspecting something far worse, I suppose.

Well, I must agree, he is just so cute I can't stand it! And I'm his Gramma so I can say that!! Although he does have a sort of "I'm not sure exactly what you have in mind but I will put up with you as long as my daddy doesn't leave" look on his face!
